About David
David Hill, "The Chicago Dog Runner",
hatched the idea for a business after two
years of running his high energy dog Flynn.
Found at the PAWS no-kill animal shelter
here in Chicago, Flynn had twice been
rejected by potential adopters due to his
fear aggression and extreme excitability.
This border collie mix had been abandoned
at a young age and most probably abused.
David brought Flynn along on his marathon
training runs and started to notice his
neurotic tendencies changing for the better.
Over time, seeing how much calmer and
relaxed the dog was after running, David
knew other canines could benefit.
Growing up around his father's veterinary
practice, he developed a strong bond with
dogs at an early age. David is a graduate of
Texas A&M University and originally from San
Antonio. He has run a combined 15
marathons & ultramarathons, including the
2009 Javelina Jundred 100-mile desert trail
race.
About Paul

each week is Paul Tarpey. Paul is currently in
Chicago pursuing a degree in Computer

About Brandt
No marathons, no races and not even a mileage
tracker - Brandt, who grew up in Brazil playing
soccer and hanging out with dogs, just likes to

he gives a workout to the fastest clients we have.
