Setting the standard in canine exercise!

The Chicago Dog Runner, as featured in the
Chicago Tribune and Wall St. Journal, is
dedicated to exercising our canine friends to
help drain energy, reduce anxiety, and extend
their overall life span.

Our
team of distance runners and experienced
dog handlers will guide your pup through a fun
and challenging workout.  Studies show a trim
dog will live an average of 2 years longer
compared to one who is overweight.

A walk is nice to break up the day's boredom
and allow for elimination. However most dogs
need a more vigorous activity to really burn off
excess energy, improve endurance and reach a
calm, relaxed state. Repressed energy can easily
translate into anxiety issues and a chaotic
household.  For more, see
NY Times story.
Is this activity right for your dog?

Please call for a general consultation, as sustained running is not appropriate for all dogs
or breeds. An assessment is performed regarding your dog's health history and current
activity level. Some dogs will need to start slowly and build up their endurance. David is
fortunate to have a
veterinarian father who consults with him about each new client.
